Drummer Tim Van Horn Talks Music

MusicTIM VAN HORN 1Drummer Tim Van Horn was super awesome and chatted about music for May of Music!

1. What artist sparked your love for music?
Nine Inch Nails sparked my love for music. I had enjoyed music before that, but it wasn’t until then that I seriously craved music.

2. What drummer do you idolize? Is their a master of drums that you strive to be as great as?
The whole time I learned drums, I never idolized anyone because I never wanted to play drums. I was just the kid with drums, so I got stuck playing them. But now, after finding love for the drums, Josh Freese is a player i aspire to be.

3. What is the most rewarding thing about having a career in music?
Playing shows infront of people who love it. 90% of being in this career sucks, but the one hour on stage every night makes up for it.

4. What does music mean to you?
It means pretty much everything. It keeps me happy. and Sane!398171_2911092373719_1152902248_3199951_1854651124_n
