It is no surprise that I am a HUGE Game of Thrones nerd, so when I found out one of my favourite artists, the darling, Brittany Hanks was dabbling in the world of Game of Thrones it was instant excitement!
I was certain she would go for Jon Snow, or perhaps one of the fierce Dragons. Oh boy, was I ever ecstatic to learn she was going to bring to life one of my favourite characters that isn’t always in the spotlight: Brienne of Tarth.
Hanks did Brienne absolute justice. This is one of the most gorgeous paintings I have ever seen.
