Holiday: Edmonton Kicks Off The Christmas Season!

yegadventuresheader1-1Edmonton is a truly wonderful place to live. We experience all four seasons, yes–sometimes it is experiencing the wrath of four seasons, but nowhere else would feel like home. Christmas in Edmonton is truly special. The city puts on so many great events, really encouraging our inner child to get outside, embrace the cold and enjoy ourselves.

Thus far, Edmonton has already celebrated the lighting of Churchill Square and 124th street. Both fantastic events that left our community both in awe, and warmth from the great city we live in. Nowhere else can we enter temperatures much below freezing, and still feel warmth spreading through our body simply from the sights and sounds of Christmas in the city.

This past weekend marked the annual Festival of Trees. An event that is as much of a tradition in Edmonton, as Christmas is itself.

Want to show your holiday spirit and take part in some of the great events Edmonton and the surrounding area have to offer?
