From the authors of the breakout best seller All my friends are dead (more than 100,000 copies sold) comes a brand-new illustrated compendium of the humorous existential ruminations of people, animals, legendary monsters, and inanimate objects.

At first glance one would assume this is a book aimed for children…no, no, no.DSC05822

This book of hilarious animations is appropriate for an adult audience. Having read All My Friends Are Dead, I didn’t think the companion piece would strike the same hilarious notes for the reader.

I was wrong. This book exceeds the high standards set by entry #1. I thought it was great, and the authors pushed past a few boundaries they seemed to have set up for the first entry.Screen shot 2012-03-21 at 5.58.37 PM

From worms, to angels–this book covers everything. That is what makes it so great, the thrill of something different on each page.

This is the perfect book to give you a smile on a day when you need one. It is utterly hilarious, laugh-out-loud funny. Every library needs a copy.

Thank you, Raincoast Canada for the review copy.
