January 30th launched a new trilogy of Strangeness, Emily and the Strangers. Long time Emily fans will notice at first glance a distinctive change to her dark appearance. For this set of comics, by the use of full colour Emily has warmed up and doesn’t seem so dark.

The storyline holds true to ETS style, dark, witty and amazing. Emily is still the female role model, who doesn’t take anything from anyone! The world is about her and her dynamic posse of felines.

From the first few pages, we learn Emily suffers the burden of having too much imagination and ideas. Right on! Emily’s mind is a cornucopia of beautiful insanity, just as it always has been.

The revamp to her image is done beautifully. The comic pages are highly detailed, extravagant works of art.

All I can say for certain, once an Emily fan—always an Emily fan. The world of strange just keeps getting stranger and stranger. Be certain to look out for the variant covers! Each issue will feature a different classic rock inspired cover.

Each regular edition will include a pull-out poster of the variant cover image.
