Fans will pore over early character sketches, as well as background paintings and rare glimpses into the series’ show bible. This visual treasure chest is gilded throughout with commentary from all the show’s key creative talent. The Art of Ooo is the perfect companion to and celebration of this groundbreaking, award-winning series.
This gorgeous book is a must have for any Adventure Time fan. It’s so interesting to see the origins of the art, and how storylines develop.
It offers the reader a ‘sneak peak’ into the world of design and artwork.
What I love the most about Adventure Time is that it appeals to all ages. Members of every generation will find something to enjoy.
Lumpy Space Princess is the most body positive character ever to exist. Her lumps are hot. She knows it, anyone else disagrees? They can lump off.
Finn and Jake are true bros. They have the strongest connection of any character in cartoon history (I made that up.) These two would go to the ends of the earth to save the other. They will ALWAYS join one another in crazy quests to appease the others boredom, or general intrigue. Putting the one you love first—that’s a true bro, epitome of what friendship is.Princess Bubblegum is a beautiful candy princess with a larger than life personality and constant hunger for knowledge. She’s royal, intelligent, a scientist and unconditionally loyal to her kingdom. Hello! Female empowerment!
There is such cute humor and witty jokes. An abundance of fart jokes, which if you can’t laugh at, you’re doomed to be boring anyways!
My favourite character? Vampire Queen Marceline. She’s got attitude, and is a rocker! Her connection with the ‘evil’ Ice King is one of the most in depth, and probably most heartbreaking in cartoon history (again, I made that up)
