The world of Monster High is filled with imagination and endearing characters. It is perfect for ages 4+ to 99, or in short–everyone. I started reading these witty books because I needed an escape from the dramatics of reality. I was searching for some light fun and laughs.

I received Operetta as a gift from a wonderful friend in the Emerald Isle. Gary, stated ‘I had to have this doll because she was the anti-barbie’ What a wonderful introduction to these neat dolls!

As seen in the above photo, Operetta is the Phantom of the Opera’s daughter. Isn’t that just…so creative and neat? I love the story lines behind each character. I’ve always been a girl that enjoys creepy stories and classic horror monsters, to see these creatures revamped and ‘cutesy’ to appeal to all ages makes my heart swell! I couldn’t be happier that I dived into the world of Monster High. I encourage you to take the plunge, too!

 My personal favourite is Frankie-Stein, who as you may have guessed, is Frankenstein’s Monster and The Bride of Frankenstein’s daughter. Frankie is a great role model for the younger audience. She is who she is, and she’s dang proud of it!
