Welcome, Autumn!

images-1

Autumn officially begins with the harvest season winding down. Fields are nearly bare, crops have been stored for the coming cold months. The Autumn Equinox is a time to the honor the changing seasons and being grateful for the things we have (Thanksgiving is entirely dedicated to this!)

It is also a time of balance and reflection, following the theme of equal hours light and dark.  We embrace the slow descent into dark season before we can truly appreciate the light that will return in a few months.
