Welcome, October!

FullSizeRenderAutumn is in the air, my favourite month has arrived in all of it’s colourful glory. After what seemed to be an eternal Summer, I am very grateful for the cool, crisp air. Something about the harvest season just gives me warm fuzzy feelings! It is time for sweaters to emerge from the recesses of our closets, boots to make an appearance–I guess the warm clothes contribute to my warm fuzzy feelings!

I believe Autumn is the best season for change. It is in the air, peek out your window, you will see scattered leaves from trees that were once blooming with flowers or fruit. Now these trees decorate the ground with their rich colours. A nice reminder that not all change is negative, that endings can be beautiful.

Much like the trees scattering their leaves, I too have been transitioning these past few weeks. It is a new season of life. The people and situations that no longer fit, I have let slowly fall away and no longer feel the urge to fight the natural process of change.

Cheers, friends! Welcome the season with a smile!
