Halloween: Autumn-A Poem

HalloweenStoriesAutumn

The season turns and winds us in

Summer greenery now rust and decay

There is ending in beginnings

Beginnings in each end

Much like the earth

We are cyclical creatures

Autumn–the great teacher

Demonstrating how beautiful

It can be

To let the dead things go

To leave

That which no longer serves you

In the dormant autumn lands

Taking nothing noxious

Into the season of silence and reflection
