Poetry: I Will Live

poetryI Will Live

I have the chance
The same one you once did

I have the chance
Now I will take it
I will never let it go

I will live

I will live until I am old
With cloudy eyes
Wrinkled skin

I will live

I will see the great wonders of the world
Chase the stars in the sky
Make my dreams come true

I will live

Wildly
Loudly
Boisterously

For you
I will live

I will make new memories
Lock up our memories tight
Where only I can find them

I will stay
I will live

The feeling
That I was darkened
By being the one left alive
Is now gone

I exist in the present now
Being in each and every moment

I will live

Then we will meet again
