Poetry: Rise

My wish to you
Bound in anger and grief
Sealed with despair and broken dreams

Set aflame by the light of a canopy of stars

My wish

Find peace
Find forgiveness

Your actions cannot break me

Your sins define you
They do not serve to identify me
Nor will they ever

My pain will not change my goodness
That cannot be taken

In our despair
I release myself from you

The final act of love

My Forgiveness

Bound in Prayers sent to the heavens
Back down to the earth

For you

To release yourself from the past

Then rise

Ready to start your revolution
