Poetry: Love Is Gone

poetryLove Is Gone

The sadness lifted

The emptiness gone

The first seeds of hope planted
Endurance brought them to life

The future was bigger
Beams of light beckoning me to smile for tomorrow
A thing to be cherished once again

The anger has ceased
The weight of emotion is lifted

Love is gone
